Hen Hydrator is made of translucent plastic so that you can always see the water level. The blue tint to the plastic allows for UV protection which prevents the growth of algae. There is an easy to remove fill plug so you don’t have to remove the lid to refill, the lid locks into place tightly to avoid spills.
